Join your colleagues in this 60-minute virtual session that is part of your paid MASPA and/or State Negotiators membership.
This informal session is not a replacement for the regularly scheduled MASPA conference nor the monthly State Negotiators meeting. There will be no formal presentation during this event.
UPDATE JAN 14: Because of the Supreme Court's ruling, the urgency surrounding the implementation and compliance has subsided.
This doesn't necessarily mean that there is nothing to discuss related to the ETS. Therefore, we will still hold this afternoon's meeting and invite a conversation related to winding-down or unwinding from the implementation.
In addition, we will pivot slightly and introduce a new topic of conversation: what barriers (statutory or otherwise) exist to staffing, and what are some possible solutions?
With the conclusion of the MSBA conference at midday on Friday, we are providing an opportunity to network with your HR colleagues about how the emergency testing standard (ETS) is going in your district.
You'll spend the majority of the meeting time in a breakout room with peers, engaged in an inclusive and confidential conversation about issues unfolding related to the ETS.
While the Supreme Court ruling on the ETS may not be in hand, or if it is, there will be topics to discuss. This meeting will breakout into self-guided rooms along topics such as:
- Systems and processes
- Staff communications
- Policies
The small group breakout time will be "bookended" with facilitated large group sharing of information.
This session requires a dues-paying or full membership in MASPA or State Negotiators. You can join or upgrade at https://mnaspa.org/join
