This in-person meeting begins with plated lunch from 11:30 to 12:30.  Virtual attendance to the Presentation portion of the meeting is available to those that do not attend in-person.

COVID protocol: This DoubleTree location participates in the Hilton CleanStay program.  Seating for lunch and meeting seating will allow physical distancing.  When possible, recording of the Presentation will be made available after the meeting.

2. Presentation: PELSB Update.  
   Alex Liuzzi, Executive Director, Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board, and Julie Coffey, PELSB Board member anad Executive Director of Human Resources, Mounds View Public Schools, will join the group with an update on significant PELSB's initiatives that relate to statute, rulemaking, licensing applications, complaints & discipline, and reporting.  They'll also respond to your questions regarding specific scenarios as you seek to meet your staffing goals.
   
   The program will also include presentations from groups working to develop the educator workforce. 
   
   
3. Reports and Updates on Settlements
   Moderated group discussion: members share a brief update as to where they are in the process of negotiating teachers’ and other contracts. Includes please share the main issues they have brought to the table as well as any other issues or proposals you feel would be of interest to the group.
