This is the first round of general sessions for a workgroup of MN public school administrators responsible for implementing Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST). The meetings on 9/14 and 9/17 will have identical agendas. Repeat participation is welcome. Attendees will:

• Learn the new law (review for some/first time of others).
• Identify challenges arising with ESST, such as ambiguous areas for common school employment scenarios, coordination with other benefit programs, and technology vendor limits.
• Create connections with peers from other districts responsible for ESST implementation based on similar roles and HR/Payroll systems. We'll have breakout rooms for Skyward SMS, Skyward Qmlativ, PowerSchool eFinancePlus, and SMART eR HR/Finance.
• Understand the next steps for the workgroup.

Presenters include Darcy Hitesman, Esq., Founder of HitesmanLaw, and Chris Hoehn, MASPA Coordinator and Owner of VitaminK12.

This webinar is open to all Minnesota school administrators. The focus is for human resources, business, payroll, benefits and central office administrators.  Those involved in leave policy or operations.
