Western Governors University (WGU) is an eligible higher education institution for both the Grow Your Own and SPED Pipeline Grants from the Minnesota Department of Education. As a nonprofit, WGU was built to serve working adult learners and today runs the nation's largest teachers college - partnering with thousands of schools across the country to upskill their talent and place high-quality teachers in classrooms. Our online competency-based model of education allows students to work while enrolled and leverage existing knowledge to accelerate through their program, saving both time and money. This webinar will introduce you to WGU's model of education and discuss how we can partner with your school district on these critical grant opportunities from MDE.

Speakers:

-Dr. Stacey Ludwig Johnson, Senior Vice President and Executive Dean, WGU School of Education

-Dr. Jim Chandler, Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager, WGU

The general session portion of each meeting will be recorded and made available for replay.  Please register to receive access to the recording.
